Product Review: Purple Rose Supply Cannagar Mold

I don’t smoke cannabis as much as I vaporize dry herb now, but I do save smoking for special occasions. When Purple Rose Supply contacted me about trying their cannagar kit, I was intrigued, as it seemed that it had the potential to help me roll that perfect celebratory smokeable.

Spoiler: I was not disappointed!

They were generous enough to send me a cannagar kit of my own to try, and since it gave such good results I thought I’d tell yinz about it.

Included in my bundle was one of the cannagar molds the company creates, some skewers, and a wooden tip. There were also handy instructions (and the website is FULL of information on how to use the kit!).

Purple Rose Supply has taken the guesswork out of rolling a cannagar. Depending on the type of kit, you can get the full amount of supplies to keep a bunch of cannagars on hand, or just enough for celebratory purposes. In addition to some of their bundle suggestions, you can also build your own with a variety of options.

The mold itself is well-made and sturdy. While the wooden tip was also nice, I wouldn’t suggest reusing it (but Purple Rose Supply does sell reusable glass tips!)

In my case, I got a small cannagar mold, which came with a wooden tip and a pack of wooden skewers. There’s also a large wooden tamper, to help tamp down the material. The fact mine is a small boggles the mind!

The included instructions explain everything you need to know to roll a good cannagar, and the website is helpful as well.

In making my cannagar, I found that all of the pieces feel sturdy.

I slowly added cannabis, tamped the mold, and repeated. I did this until the mold was filled, and left it until the next day. From there I wrapped it in a hemp wrap, used a bit of glue for it, let it dry,

What resulted was, a really great looking cannagar!

It burned beautifully, and we were able to enjoy it between us over the course of an hour or so. It burned well, without any canoeing / runs. The airflow was perfect from the first puff to the last.

If this whole thing sounds intriguing, and having an easy way to roll cannagars is appealing to you, Purple Rose Supply’s cannagar mold is a worthy addition to your collection. They have a variety of sizes, from the large (requiring 8 hours of curing) to a new mini-mold (which cures in around 30 minutes).

Thanks to Purple Rose Supply for getting me to step outside of my comfort zone! Who knew I could roll a perfect cannagar?
