I’ve been on an indica kick for a while, and it really went into overdrive following a mini-panic attack that I had while shopping on an exceptionally potent sativa. Since then, I’ve mainly left sativas for rare occasions, because they just haven’t been playing well with my current symptoms. That means I’ve been exploring indicas and attempting to harness their amazing advantages while trying to avoid their couch lock (except for appropriate times). While I am not one to stockpile, I did buy a couple of ounces extra at my local dispensary (while social distancing), and I wanted to write about the beautiful flower that I stocked up on, and why. It wasn’t just the news.

I want to begin by saying that their website, while simple in its design, contains the sort of information I want to see on a producer’s website! When I contacted them about using their beautiful images, they not only permitted me to do so but told me they have been open about their testing and terpene profiles since 2015! I am so excited because this aligns with what I am hoping to see for all cannabis consumers in the future, and 54 Green Acres shows that it can be done!

Strain information used with permission from http://www.54greenacres.com/home.html This is a gorgeous amount of information, and shows the amount of thought they put into their products that it is readily and easily available.

Budtenders will always tell you that the nose knows, which makes the times of Corona very hard for people who don’t have access to just sniffing all the bud. In these troubled times, let’s remember when you’d get what your dealer had (and it probably didn’t have a name, and if it did, it was $60 an eighth). While not being able to sniff out your best bud will make it difficult, having information like the above profile is invaluable.

Ultimate Purple smells and tastes purple. Like grape soda levels of purple drink flavored purple. It’s amazing, and just what I need to help soothe my anxieties and ease my tension headaches. It’s so powerfully purple that its vapor is also purple-smelling. This complex scent certainly cemented it as the fast favorite in our household.

I have to say, this is the perfect flower for me in these difficult times surrounding Covid-19 quarantine. Luckily, as a medical patient, I was able to somewhat stock up at my dispensary (I don’t want to stock up too awful much, but I’m also immunocompromised, so I have to balance a lot of desires in all of this). Because of its myrcene and linalool, this has been exceptional in helping me to deal with anxiety.

Ultimate Purple by 54 Green Acres from Cave Junction Oregon is an exceptional choice, and one of my favorite flowers! I will be on the lookout for other products from these folks, and I’m very interested in sampling the honey, especially as my seasonal allergies set in. I’ll also be interested in how this cooks up into a tincture, as the high THC content teases a good time with that.
